Default Boost levels STi PPP

Probably should be in technical...

Just fitted a boost gauge to my 05 STi PPP and have noticed it's boosting under what I imagined it should, generally around 1 Bar (BAR gauge) where as I thought it should be around 1.3 Bar. Noticed on 2 occasions where it has indicted about 1.3 Bar but normally peeks around 1. Does that sound a bit low? Car drives fine, no difference to how it's always driven so it's only the fitting of the gauge that's got me wondering. Does the ambient air temperature affect boost levels? Been very warm lately. Could it be the calibration of the gauge?

Any thoughts

Dave

My 06STi PPP peaks at 1.4Bar although that will probably increase when the air temp drops in the winter.
