hi guys on the internet at last ! my name is sam and from sale manchester .love the site lots of helpful info, new to the site but met some of you before .One day me an me pal went out on a drive up snakes pass and seen a load of subarus at a pub the snake inn is it? pulled in an found myself in the middle of peak tour 2004 how weird! .I was in a silver v1 wagon sti .i was handed a map oblivious to what was going on and off we went .wow what a drive out that turned out to be me and me pal were buzzin for days tell all our mates . anyway sold that wagon (BIG MISTAKE) and made the fatal mistake of buying a skyline what a load of junk that turned out to be anyways im back now with a version 5 sti wagon picking it up on saturday cant wait much better car .just wondered if anyone can remember me that day ?.searched all your forums for some pics of me wagon but all the pics are missin .sorry i know its a bit late .if anyone had any pics of thst day i would be very very greatfull if you could post them up .hope to see you all soon on the next peak tour or usc SAM

yea got it from there dont really like them but dont think me skylines going to last another six months . so get rid now before it costs me grands on a engine rebuild .when i prefer a subs any day . rather spend me money on that. no pannel damage at all . imaculate on the inside an out prob one of the cleanist there m8 been over the body like a fine tooth comb.

Sam, if you're getting your car from KTC then I and just about everyone else on this bbs will warn you against using them. COWBOYS! Is about all I can say, horror stories a-plenty from those chaps. The reason the cars are so cheap is because they are crap. There's even a rumour that some of the cars are jap/euro/row stolen! No kidding. If you could walk away from the deal at this point in time, I would if I were you. Just do a quick search on here or google for them, horror stories everywhere, and not just with Subaru, the same stories on bbs from nissan and mitsubishi. You have been warned.

 

cheers mate have to have a serous think about it ive got the money to buy a decent car so i dont need to scrimp and scrap . just on the off chance im getting it from there because there they are only one who will give me decent money for me car most garages wont touch a modifed skyline px .that car seems to be mint only had it in one day on the forcourt but if it could be nicked thats a diffrent story. maybe i can make me skylkine last for a bit longer a cheer s for the advice m8 i would rather a blown engine on a 99 sti than a n skyline prob be alot cheaper on the sti to . it is cheep to 6500 .but it drives good and the body is good to . i value your coments alot thanks .

 

No worries sam, if your in any doubt about the car, get an independant assessment on it. RAC or maybe a good mechanic you know could help. Money well spent especially if you're buying from there. Good luck with the purchase whatever you do

 

I wouldnt buy from KTC under any circumstances. You might be better buying a known car from ScoobyNet; the prices seem lower here (generally) than in the open market too.
