Its sunday night and you have given the guys and gals like 10 mins to reply

Ok, i think by reading your post I get that you want either a 22b or a P1 right? Well I can tell you that the p1 is a great car. A bit expensive for an STI IV with prodrive rear spoiler (flame suite on).
I have one on my fleet of prestige cars, its a tasty motor and we have had no problemos at all

As for the 22b, Im sure one of the owners will let you know what they think of their chariots

I would tread very carefully if I were you mate, as you may have noticed alot of people take offence at your continued which is better questions, and those that don't will begin to take offence at your attitude!!!(those that didn't like you due to continued questions!!!!!Wel...) So all in all you will become an extremely unpopular person I'd go and chill out for a while and stop asking questions if I were you or buy a very good flame proof suit!!!!

Pazza, mate: you're going the right way to wind people up here. Steve is a valuable contributor to the board.

P1 WR: What Impreza do you have at the moment?

Price: obvious answer. Roadholding: what sort of road? Track: Either one. Comfort: Probably P1. Fun: What sort of style driving do you like. Problems: P1 has a better warranty maybe, unless you go for a 22B type UK.

evo magazine believe the 22B is not suited to UK roads and they give the P1 the nod.

However, not knowing what the roads are like in Turkey (it is Turkey isn't it?) it's kinda hard to be subjective.

Do you have billiard table smooth roads or do you have pot holes and lumpy roads? This makes alot of differance as to the on road ability of the cars.

Steve Y - Cut P1 some slack. You've probably seen other posts between him and Blowdog and now know he's Turkish, so you should forgive any poor English and allow for the fact that he probably doesn't have a SIDC going on across there where he can ask these questions at track days and meets. And what else is a BBS for than exchanging questions and opinions.

There's nothing wrong with comparing one car and another, heck, car magazines do it every single issue. Maybe P1 reads too much into such articles, maybe not, but please stop judging him.

If you don't like his posts or you don't want to help him, don't read them, simple as that.

I must just explain something..

I think P1's second post is in reply to a post that I removed.

This post was simply offensive, and didn't help anyone.

It was only there for a couple of minutes and apparently I beat Stuart to removing it by about 10 seconds!

Pazza
I'm sure you are impressing the hell out of yourself, but the rest of us have seen it all before. This happens every few months, you are not the first and will not be the last.

Silly question...

Can you even get a P1 in Turkey? I thought it was a UK only vehicle...

PeeOneDoubleUAre.

Get the car you like the most!.

If that fails, get the one you can get hold of the easiest - in Turkey, I guess an imported 22B.

Regards
Kurt

Dunno, but you'd get several turkeys in a P1. Gobble gobble!

funny but i had a guy ask me at oulton whether the 22B was horendous to drive on the road?

Such nonsense talked in the motoring press at times.

I did daventry to the nurbugring and then back to manchester plus a day on the nurburgring and i was ready to do that trip all over again the next day.

The 22B is fantastic on the road, why the press said its a handfull is beyond me?

I must arange that day with mike wood so i can see how the P1 on 18" works, been so busy having fun, no time for playing in a P1

Harj, John, Rich...

Remember, most 22B's are not like Rich's.

I have only driven a few (between 6 and 10) but have disliked them in general and felt that they are indeed a handlful, particularly over bumpy slippy surfaces.

Rich's 22B is completely unlike this. It is stunningly composed, has tremendous feel, it is incredibly driveable.

I dare say the journalist are correct in what they say.

P1 WR
I would personally recommend against a 22B if you fall into either of these categories...

1) not a skilled driver, but pushes a car hard anyway.
2) likes to hammer a car around without too much concentration being required.

The 22B is a challenging car once on the limit. But the limits are miles away. It IS possible to get there however as soon as the surface is worse than the tyres are good.

But, even if you are a total idiot behind the wheel, you will be fine if you stay below the limit.

Cheers

Simon

Well guys being an EVO driver you probably think I don't have much interest in either, but it has to be 22b every time. IMHO it has more class, style, and driver feed back.
What do these journalists know anyway!
