Hi,
Anyone know were I can get a JDM sti service book and a spare key cut,
its a 55 plate hawkeye style. the Key is the most important at the moment.

Darren, when I bought a new JDM STi a few years back, I wanted a 3rd key cut, but couldn't find anywhere to do it.
So I bought some blanks from someone in the US on ebay. They arrived in a couple of days and took the to Mister Minit to be cut.
The JDM models don't need the chipped keys, so no problem.

why don't the JDM cars need a chip one? sorry never had a jap one only UK cars.

Because JDM cars don't come with an alarm/immobiliser.

 

Because car crime is virtually unheard of in Japan.

 

Where are you located? If your near Reading/Berkshire I can point you in the direction of someone who will be able to supply and cut a key with transponder if needed.

sorry for long time in response been working late, I am in Basildon Essex but the car is at this moment in heathrow area. it has a cobra alarm fitted but only one car key so i need a spare key, i would be greatfull for any names and phone numbers you could supply,
