Have any of you Scooby guys fitted an Ecotek Valve?

I have one fitted to my 200SX and it appears to only make minimal difference to MPG and throttle response.

Thinking og getting one fitted next week,a mate has one on his MY98 and swears by it. Approx 3-4 mpg better off with as you have mentioned better throttle response. Down side he reckons is that it can be noisy. Will be parting with £50 unfitted. Mal

It does make a weird rasping sound on overrun but I can't detect it now that I've had a Blitz Zorst fitted.

It's simple to fit with good instructions. You just need to cut the hose going from the brake servo to the manifold and fit the valve in-between with a couple of hose clips to secure it.

Besides, it's only 50 quid.

Do a search on this BBS for Ecotek, there have been several threads on the subject and even a group buy a few months ago.

I'm taking mine off. I can not get the car to run right with it on.
