i got square ones on mine mate, although i think the majority of peeps on here prefer the standard ones!!

yeah mate, no probs, providing the size, spacing and background conform!!!
its been MOT'd etc...
plus dont forget, some alfa's have them too as standard!!
i have them on the back too.

the trouble is the bumper cutout is better suited to standard shape plates on the back.

forgot to say IIRC the size is 11" x 8" for standard uk square plates
but you can have a border and logo on this size.
i think the US size plates are a bit smaller and may be illegal.
also there is legislation on the placement of the plate (height from road and angle etc...)
have a look on any plate manufacturers website for more info.
i quite like them on mine, and as they were on the car when it got registered, no point in spending £30 on another set, as i see it!! (spend it on optimax instead!!)
