Normal type R's are 280ps which equates to 276BHP as standard. As far as i'm aware there were some special versions with 300PS too

not really, evo has better brakes and sharper steering. Impreza is a bit lighter, and if the japanese racing drivers on best motoring are anything to go by the impreza will be slightly quicker on the track too

I prefer the impreza myself, but it's personal opinion.

<cue flaming from all the scooby owning impreza haters on here!?!?!>

white is my fav for a type r

I think they'll be very similar for depreciation, neither will loose much if in good condition.

Hard to speculate, if anything I'd sy evo would loose more as the type r is very rare, particularly a clean one and even more so if std.

hi - just bought a black v6 type r yesterday with 60000 miles for £9995, but they gave me £2k for a 10 year old alfa 145 2l c/l, so £8k to change.

car is fantastic -I have had a couple of p1s and a couple of evos and this is right up there with them.

sounds a good choice

looked at yours i think last week, but i was really after eithe blue or grey - so ended up with black!!
