JUST THOUGHT I WUD ASK:cheap chip mods
ok,...i prob wont ever buy one unless i know sumone whos tried one already.......on ebay for around 15pound with the seller stressin dont buy expensive ecu this lil device does the same thing and adds 20+BHP i just put in subaru chip or wrx chip.......wot u all think lol

Complete load of dog sh1te mate, i think it just fools the engine into thinking there is more air is going in so the ecu adds more fuel....something like that anyway.

It's a resistor that bridges the ECTS (engine temperature sensor) on the engine, It did make a noticable difference on my 2001 proton satria GTI and caused no problems at all for 30K miles (apart from it drank more petrol!) It made the engine rev easier and it pulled much better low down!
However, I have not done this to my scoob, because they are a bit more complex,(i would imagine) and feel it may cause some damage of some sort, but if anyone has please let me know!
And you can buy them for 2p if you really want one! LOL
