Hi all - just coming home from the Motorshow and through the roadworks on M5/M6/M42 - 40MPH speed limit!!! - no works going on - little trafic - dry - etc etc and a camera flashed the car....the speedo showed - 47mph!!! I will state at this point that I was not necessarily driving the vehicle )!
Has anyone tried this innocence until proven guilty argument (ie cant incriminated oneself)??? as is the case in Scotland you cannot get done if you just keep your gob shut?? THEY have to prove that YOU were the driver - you do NOT have to state anything??
I know speeding has been covered many times but it seems to be about guns and police actually stopping you - not much about the simple camera and if anyone has had the ***** to ignore the request for the drivers details.

I'd wait to see if you get anything in the post before worrying. 9 out of 10 speed cameras probably don't have any film in anyway. Been flashed a few times and never been done.

I'm not convinced that all the Road Work cameras are actually loaded. If they are, the amount of cars I see flying through them at a far higher speed than yours, they must run out of film quickly.
