smoke
i know you fella's are getting sick of me asking these questions, but personally i would rather be safe than sorry and ask anyway
last night when fella got to work there was smoke coming up from under the bonnet, yet it was fine this morning when he drove back home. we had the head gaskets and the radiator fixed recently, so it can't be them again, can it

smoke...?
Always a difficult one to answer especially since no smoke the next morning...!
SO...what colour was the smoke...?? Thinking oil based will burn diff colour than water based..??
it could help to eliminate whether smoke is a result of OIL, PETROL, or WATER... possibly escaping and then dripping onto something hot?
When my radiator top hose split...oh my gosh what a load of smoke that produced !!!
Before another journey check all fluid levels inc brake , clutch and power steering...
Good luck
