Hi Stef
I was reading your post on the Nurburgring on the RS board the other night, I was over with the RS boys in september and did 5 laps as you say the track is spot on.my best time was just over 9 min 30 secs but managed to get slowed on each lap by one thing or another worst was a large apple getting stuck under the brake pedal(not recommended)
The 4 passengers I gave rides to in my scooby all RS owners were impressed with our car, most had very wet backs by the time we got back to the start.you say you are going again at Easter,I would love to join if funds permit keep us posted if poss.
Were you on road tyres or slicks.
I hope to have some big brakes soon APs with own disign bells, hope it stops a bit better than standard 95 WRX not the best stoppers in the world
I hope to meet you at a track day in the near future

Stef,
I agree! This should be organised NOW, that way we will get a good crowd of RS / Evo / Scooby owners etc, start advertising / organising it - we could even get one of the classy mags to attend (Evo)...
I will try and drum up interest on the RSOC board, but I already have a confirmed car load for me....!
Best regards
Mike R

Phil A, I'm not sure you will be allowed a go on the Nurburgring with slicks - if they discover you -
Nurburgring is a public road and only road legal cars are allowed. No temporary plates, no racecar ( noice ) no slicks. I have seen a few bikes that where not allowed access, because of the noice.

Phil.
No probs, the event organisation is already well underway!
We will obviously keep everyone posted.
As Lars says, slicks are not allowed although road-legal one's are. I was on road tyres.

There is an event at teh 'ring in Feb next year. It's a rally for any class of car, modern or historic and it's basically two stages. The second stage is the 'ring in reverse! Never been done before. Sound exciting.
