Unhappy

Can anyway help me on this?? I've got a my95, 260bhp,wrx.
I stopped at the traffic lights today and my car just cuts out, when i went to start it again, it would turn but wouldn't start?????
I haven't got a clue what it could be,the check engine light wasn't on when i eventully got it started after 15mins!
The spark plugs & fuel filter have been changed.
Anyone else had this problem or anyone know what it was????

Arrow

sounds like a fuel problem, possibly a dodgy petrol pump/pump relay.

I had this problem a long time ago on a Golf GTI, it took me ages to cure, it turned out to be a loose earth wire from the ECU to the body. Apparently if the ECU isn't earthed directly to the body the voltage difference screws around with the idle.

My wife had a similar problem in our old 97 scooby. Happened to her three times in 2 years at lights (she swears she didn't stall it). Apart from that no other problems. Just one of those things?????
