Default exhaust

Hi every 1 im new to this infact its my 1st post,i have recently bought a wrx on a 02 plate and looking at playing with it a bit,i have never owned a scooby b4 but now i bought 1 i love it ,i never understood why people messed about with engines but now i totally understand ,anyway i have no idea what im doing but im gonna give it a go so far i have had new lights fitted which looks nice but i want to increase the bhp so far i have only added a induction kit which seems to have made a little bit of differance and i have been told the next thing to go 4 is a exhaust so i need a little help choosing 1 i have looked at the afterburner and 4 the full system its a round 500 quid is this the right way to go and they say it will give u around 20 bhp is this right and if so is that noticable {i did say im new to all this car stuff}then after that prob get it chipped and remapped am i doing this engine thing right please help

Before starting on the engine would it not be a good idea to ugrade the brakes and suspension first. Just my opinion.

My only advice is to keep your money in your pocket for now and do some serious reading till you know what you are buying and what it will do for you

what sort of bhp will i get by chipping it and remapping it.

Forget the chip. You can re-map the stock ecu.
If you went for a full decat and re-map, you can expect anything between 260 and 280 bhp
