I have pushed over 150mph, still had a bit left, I am sure 160 would have been possible (if my ***** were big enough!).

On a private test track.

My GPS unit has a top speed recorded of 167.8mph, achieved on a moderate downhill gradient (on the autobahn of course). I've seen about 163mph GPS measured on the main straight at Bruntingthorpe. Both in a P1 with the Prodrive exhaust.

P.S. the speedometer is out by about 8-9mph at these speeds - my speedo was reading off the clock (i.e. reading approx 165) at about 156mph.

Thumbs up

Shaun,

Who cares. As long as its not on the public highway.

Why have a fast car if you ain't gonna drive it quick.

I though the speedo doesn't read anything whilst going backwards.
Did you know that a scooby can get from 0-60 faster than a Boeing 747.
