Default MY06 PPP

I have found a thread stating this is now avalible, has anyone taken the plunge and arranged for fitment as yet?

When I purchased my WRX I negotiated free fitting of the PPP, can anyone tell me how the £1700 splits between parts and fitting, just to ensure my dealership does not try to have one over on me.

Thanks

Don't hold your breath, you minght get £100 off but from what I have heard the dealers don't make much anyway.
I was going to have ppp, but Subaru are not getting any more of my cash, ive had my car exactly 1 month and low and behold some d1ck head at Subaru introduces a new special edition for the same money

Features of the new wrx type uk:

rac trackstar + 1 years subs
sat nav system
5 yrs free servicing
5 yrs warranty
5 yrs subaru assistance
blue tooth phone adapter.

All worth about £3000, this shall be the last subaru I buy.

That's just bad luck, but you have to be real about what it's worth. i wouldn't be overly disappointed.

Trackstar £420 (If your insurance doesn't require it then it's a waste)
Sat Nav and Bluetooth £270 (TomTom 500)
5 years assistance £170
Not sure about servicing
Warranty worthless if nothing goes wrong or if you sell before 3 years, but about £400-500 to arrange an extended warranty)

The SatNav and Bluetooth that Subaru supply are just nasty IMHO.

I rang customer services today to complain, and they told me to write a letter to complain, which I have done and posted today. If you do the same don't e-mail because they apparantely arn't geared up to respond to e-mails !!!
I know most manufacturer dealers may have offers from time to time, but Subaru seem to really know how to p1ss there customers off.
Oh and I also missed out on the free servicing with my last scooby my03.

To be fair it seems more like IM rather than Subaru, they are one of the reasons I will be buying from importers.

About 2.5-3 hours to fit & test car. Give it £50-£60 per hour so that should be a discount IRO £150? This should come off the PPP price which includes fitting.

Bear in mind a five year warranty is only valid if you can resist fitting mods to your car for that length of time. I've got over a year left on my WR1's warranty and I'm chomping at the bit to increase power. Some time ago Mike Wood said they were looking into an upgrade, but that's gone quiet for a while now (Mike are you listening?).

Free servicing would save you some cash though.

Good luck

Anders

For the same money I would rather go for the PS 340 upgrade, but it's each to their own at the end of the day.
