Default a sad sad day

well today, after nearly 3 years, i finally recieved all the documents for the new reg plate for my scooby, so my one goes on retention, and the car is being picked up on sunday, for someone else to drive/enjoy/polish/listen to/stare at.

company car and a new house beckon, but i can not even move into that for three weeks as its not ready!!

so heres hoping in six months time, after sorting out the finances, i can buy another type r.

is it normal to be so attatched to a car, i really am sad, never felt like this before as i have always got bigger or faster replacements, but now, forced into the sale with no replacement, it is quite upsetting, i am sure its not just me, however my g/f thinks it is.

RIP R 14NS R

Talking

I've walked away from 4 imprezas over 8 years and I didn't give it a moments bad thought.

although I must confess I did feel a twinge of sadness when I watched my E30 M3 Cecotto being driven away

surely simply being on this forum lends oneself to thinking cars are more than just metal...

I walked away from my 2nd Scoob in 4 yrs a few weeks ago.

Over the 180 mile trip to p/ex the car, all I was thinking was, "Christ, my a$$ is numb in these seats!!"

Sat in the new car, put my foot down andhaven't given the car a moment's thought!!

Although I (and my daughter - much to wifey's annoyance) miss the sound of the ScoobySport

Will haev to see whether Hayward & Scott do custom-mades for the Audi
