Default MY06 Sti rattling clock?

Having done less than 1k miles in my new Sti, a rattle has developed in the clock in the middle of the dash which is driving me mad! Has anyone else had this problem, and if so is there an easy fix? Also, is the clock easy to remove?

Didn't have a rattle but got rid of the clock and had these fitted

Sounds like you need a new holder for your clock.
As it happens I know where you can get one.......

Seriously though, the clock is VERY easy to remove. Just pull it up and it unclips. The rattle could be the wiring underneath it or maybe it is just loose. Take it out and have a fiddle.

Thanks for that m8. I'll pull the thing out tomorrow and have a fiddle!

Exclamation

Be careful, make sure you prise it up from the back, the front is secured by moulded pegs its the back end that clips into place, unclip it here (you may need to carefully prise it with the blade of a screwdriver) then when it goes push towards the windscreen to free it off the fixture at the front.

Thanks for that very useful advice!
