Don’t bother with the Rally days at Brands Hatch type of affair, we all clubbed together one year to get me dad one for his B.Day.
He basically got to drive an Escort Cosworth round an old piece of wasteland/field. Was rather crap and waste of money if you ask me.
I have seen other company's mentioned on here before though, that tend to do what you might call proper rally days (in Scoobs and Evo's etc) but I can't remember what they were called but no doubt someone will soon be on here to tell you.

I know you want to do a rally day but I did one when I was 18 and it was naff really only got about 30 mins of driving in the day proper rallying. If you would really want a true motorsport experience try www.palmersport.com is is pricey but uterlly awesome, I managed to do it twice once with my dads work and again for a birthday treat bloody great.
Alternatively try www.everymanracing.co.uk they do some decent looking rally experiences.

Find some country roads that are used by the sugar beet traffic and bingo!
A free rally track, mud and siht as far as you can see, and a chance to see just how well you scooby really handles!
Just a thought......

STi on tarmac (normal road car)
Evo group N rally car on tarmac
Polo (from VW cup) rally car on gravel
Astra rally car on gravel
Toyota to do handbrake turns
A good day out and not too expensive considering it's a full day.

Recommend Bill Gwyne Rally School, allowed to drive as fast as you like, teach you techniques as well.
You do sets of laps but if you hit a tyre the set of lap ends until next one.
So although you can drive as fast as you like, you need to remain in control.
Very good ambience and communication of your progress.
Subaru was Group N 280 bhp wrx plenty fast enough on gravel!!
Not cheap but worth it.
Near Banbury of M40
