Hi guys

gonna be changing my dp on my97. I want to get myself some spare nuts / bolts as according to some threads there is 99% chance i will shear some of the nuts.

Can i just get replacements from B&Q or alike and what do i need to look for?? size etc

Better to go to a bolt and nut stockist, as can be found in www.yell.com, and specify how many and what grade you want.

I've bought some real rubbish in nuts and bolts from DIY sheds in the past, and they're always in packs of one less than the number you need

use screw fix...... they even deliver the next day.

 

This place was recommended by some ppl off here. Not bought anything from there yet tho.

The downpipe studs & nuts are metric fine so you wont get these from the likes of B&Q and very much doubt if screwfix do them you really need to go to a specialist fixings com
Save your self a lot of hassle and get them from your dealer
