Boost gauge problem

Default Boost gauge problem

Just bought a defi boost gauge but it does not read zero when engine is switched off, it reads just below - is this normal?

Thought with the engine off it the needle should be resting on the 'pin' pointing straight down.

Theres no pin, its the 52 mm gauge i think its callled D gauge looks like this one
