Thumbs up saxo wavers

i was on my way to scoobyclinic today to get a used scoobyclinic rear box fitted to my car. i saw about three other scoobys on the way so i flashed and waved at all three of them and only one waved back.
after getting some very exalant service from the boys that no all about scoobys. and watching them remap a black wrx for drag. and getting def from all the bangs and flames from the exhaust i was on my way home. whilst going through clay cross i got a very big thumbs up from a SAXO DRIVER. two mins down the road and another one puts his thumb up HE WAS DRIVING A FOCUS.

SO APART FROM SCOOBY OWNERS THAT WAVE AT YOU WHAT OTHER DRIVERS AND THERE CARS WAVE AT YOU TO.

i used to drive a saxo, would give thumbs up to Scoobies, evos and supras (aswell as other saxo VTS drivers)... those were the 3 cars i was re-searching to buy next and i was a forum lurker.. Almost bought a supra (cheaper insurance??!) but decided 300bhp of rear wheel drive ness in a big car wasnt for me.. so went for my Impreza. SO glad i did!

I've never had a scooby driver return a wave since i got my classic, but i've had waves off Evos, a Skyline (today) and a couple of Celicas (usually see same one on way to work), even an old bloke in a Forrester waved at me the other day!!

Saxo drivers wave to you because the scoob is the new kid on their block. They will trade down to one when they get fed up with their current car

Only non scooby I wave at or waves at me are Evo's... If I saw someone in a shopping cart waving at me I'd just think they were mental or taking the pi$$

Police drivers have been waving at me lately, strange, they keep pointing to the side of the road. (4 times in a week). It's nice to see their faces as I get out of the car, they expect some youngster & out jumps (!) some bloke in his (early) fifties.
They're having a bit of a purge in Swansea methinks.

Round here recently in the Cotswolds 20 something blokes stand in the road and give the thumbs up, really weird.

Best wave from a Noble at the weekend, best twitch of the eyebrow at a roundabout, from Jeremy Clarkson Hardly ever get waves from other Scoob drivers these days.

I waved at a black WRX last week but when it got closer it was a really old fella smoking a pipe and he completely ignored me!

that's the first time i've seen a pipe smoker in a scoob.

Had a Saxo driver wind down his window and wave at me recently, thought he was being sarcastic - perhaps not
