But twice this week i have struggled to get away from mini cooper S

The first instance was coming onto the motorway..the Cooper S (works edition) wouldn't move out of the way, and i didn't have the extra punch to get past him when he eventually moved over.. i paid my respects and flashed my hazards..

Second time at traffic lights... just a normal Cooper S... and i was only about a cars length ahead by the time we hit a roundabout.. my 4-pots allowed me to break later than him.. but never the less.. i was well surprised...

It's got me thinking... maybe my next car should be a mini.. was tempted to get a twin turbo supra.. move up the power chain.. but???

 

oh man your scooby's either slow or your putting your foot on the brake! there really not very fast!

 

Thats what i'm thinking.. maybe i need to get it on some rollers and see what it's pushing?

Its a 96 import, running 15psi, HKS intake with decat...so i would have thought enuf to kill a mini?

I bet the power to weight ratio is pretty close?

 

well......i can pull away from civic type r's fairly easily and i'm pushing around 300 brake so i'm sure you should blast away from a cooper s,my mates got a clio 182 cup and its quick..........but its certainly not fast!

 

If it was a Cooper S Works Edition then its just under 200bhp I think with power to weight of 175bhp so it wont be slow
