Default Would facelift bonnet fit?

Would a post facelift wagon bonnet fit with no problems onto a pre-facelift wagon?
I think I would need to change lights and grill.
Has anyone done this and know how much work is involved etc?
Thanks.

You need the grille, lights and bonnet.... takes about 30mins total to do the swap. I did it years ago on my old MY93.

It will fit but you will need the lights & grill to suit it better. The lines are slighty different.
Then you will have to deal with the scoop undertray.

The pre97 cars have a slanty intercooler, post 97 straight so the scoop doesn't line up. I used the old pre97 undertray and with a bit of riveting and cutting of the post97 one married the two togther and it worked fine for 4 years like that. Looked standard i did such a good job
