Default got blown by a cossie

got followed by a g reg seirra cossie , pulled onto dual carriageway and booted it , and he sat behind me on my tail, so as excellerating moved over still flooring it and he just passed me and carried on, he let off cloud off smoke shot out the back but then back on the power , couldnt touch him on the straight 2 miles long.
He smiled and piped his horn as he pulled off.
I got to get a bigger turbo !
made me giggle though

i wouldnt bother with them, most are tuned and quite fast, besides, if you find yourself racing one and your behind it, back off before you spin off and die on the oil slick they leave.

You can't count it when they're dropping their kids off.

Most Cossie's these days are running at least 330bhp. Only costs a few hundred £ to get them to that power.

Is it neccessary to muppetise everything.

Ok, Paul. Seeing as you're calling me out let's have a debate. What is more muppety:

1.Bragging about how much boost you have on your car in barely literate English, then blathering about other fast cars and whether you can beat them on the public roads.

2. Poking fun at someone who thinks they are great for doing this, and pointing out that they are, in fact, a tosser?

I bet he wasn't even trying Cossies to this day especially the 2wd ones are very fast and something to be worried about. A tatty 89 model is still worth alot more than an impreza circa 93 which is why impreza owners hate them

1.2 bar of boost.

What does that equate to in *****-length terms? Does anyone have the conversion factor?

Cosworths are fairly easy to tune, 350 bhp no probs, which makes for a quite capable roadcar - not sure if the 4x4 can handle this only the RWD versions so i've been told.

Incidentally there's a guy who picks his kids up at the school opposite where i work - on the back of his cosworth he has a sticker that reads 'Subaru's are S**t'

Ok then!!!

I use to have a 360bhp 4x4 cossie and you would be surprised how fast they are, only prob was it was in the garage being repaired more than it was on the road

Got to agree, a standard STi will "get touched" by many cars on the road.

I have a 330 bhp 2 yr old scob but would rather have a 2 yr old cossy if they were still around - lets face it, cossies are the absolute dogs bollocks - easy to work on, cheap to moify, GOOD LOOKING, etc etc etc etc. Bring back the cossy!!

My mates got one running 440bhp, but it's been off the road, stored up in this garage for the last 2 years, been trying to convince him to get it back on the road just so i can go for a ride in it.

Doesn't need much work, fit a new petrol tank which he has, think the drivers door needs respraying and could do with an uprated intercooler coz it's running so much boost it keeps splitting the welds. Think he'd sell it if anyone is interested.

I have a 330 bhp 4x4 saph and it's a very quick road car,i personally love the classic scoobs but after driving two of them one a wrx and one an sti my cossie is quicker than both of them although on the twisties they are hard to beat.
