People that pull out in front of you on a roundabout, when you are obviously near enough not to be pulled out in front of
Not a Scoob thing in particular but annoys the hell out of me.....
Other dislike is not picking up enough birds Oops better not let the missus see that

Something I've noticed a lot in my Scoob is people pulling out in front of me - at roundabouts especially, but also sideroads. I reckon people see a blandish (!) looking Japanese saloon (black MY93) and assume it can't be going that fast and decide to pull out. Irritates the hell out of me. It might look bland to some ignorant drivers, but that doesn't give them the right to pull out in front of me and cause me to brake hard
Apart from that the other main thing that annoys me is the idiots who can't comprehend why I'm going at an *ahem* appropriate speed in a 60/70 limit and slow down to the limit when a 30 comes along. They seem to think that driving up my exhaust will make me go faster. Think again moron!

Only car I've driven where I can see my fuel guage moving.
Almost moves as quick as the speedo needle sometimes - but in the opposite direction
The dent some kn*b-rot put in my bonnet after about a month of ownership through jealousy or whatever other shallow-minded motive he had. Grrr, I'm getting angry just thinking about it now
The difficulty in keeping to a 30mph limit. Feels like about 10 mph!

Got it in one. Was driving home last night round a roundabout with marked lanes, happily sitting in my lane, when old 50 ish (no offence to similar aged peeps on here), dude in a clio nearly takes my front wing off , straying all over the lanes. I beep, so he doesn't hit me, and he pulls up alongside and throughs something out his car at me - I mean, whats that all about????
Then, lunchtime - I had one of those side street jobs mentioned above, going along the road, big gap between car in front and me, I'm thinking, that guy in a lupo can get out easily, but he doesn't and then pulls out when I'm just about on him so I have to brake to 20 from 40 I then clap him for being so clever and he stops dead trying to start something. Can't be bothered with that mentality so I drive past him and luckily I floored it past too, coz he then turned to try and T-bone me Then proceeds to follow me about, only his piece of crap has two hopes of keeping up with a scoob
What is it with these people?

Feel a bit better now thats off me chest

Tailgaters. More in the Scoob than in any other car I have driven.
Its like a red rag to some & its usually 3 types...
1) Kids in Nova's
2) BMW drivers
3) Reps in Mundanos or Vectra's etc etc etc etc.

I can see this thread getting quite long.
Right on Ro - description of tailgate cars spot on. It might be stereotyping but there is certainly an element of truth in there!
Jawa too right - someguy in a "white van" cut me up on a big roundabout and nearly took my front wing off after I came alongside him on the inside lane. He then proceeds to flip me the bird and give me a stern look as though I have done something wrong? Go figure

* people driving with foglights on when no fog around
* speed limits on american highways
* speed cameras in "accident blackspots" which aren't

Stolen car that cut my wife up, slammed his brakes on causing her to crash into him. Laughed, gave her the finger and drove off.
£2K damage to MY00 plus it screws up our insurance. This seriously sucks!!

1. Police cars who pull you over for no reason
2. Speed limits and camera, but they are there to be obeyed.
3. Idiot males who think it is a novelty to see a young, blonde female (me), step out of a scooby it is starting to get annoying Girls do drive fast cars and I even know how to do some work on it too WOW
Sorry
4. Fuel consumption - but that is what you get for a fantastic car like the scoob.
All in all I don't really dislike anything about my car, I love it to bits

BMW318 wannabes. Doing everything already mentioned. I especially like the way they believe the outside lane is reserved for them and them only. It's always these that give me the most grief. (BTW my GF has one, if you see her driving like this in Northants let me know).
True about racing too, everyone wants ago. Which isn't always bad.....

For me it's gotta be the people who think there's only one lane on a motorway (the outside lane), and people who go faster in a 30 zone than in the national speed limit. >(
The best way to deal with tailgaters is just come off the throttle and slow down progressively until they get the message - works most of the time. I have to confess to having flashed a few lane-hoggers in my time, but I usually wave thanks as I pass them just to prevent it being seen as aggressive either by them or any nearby unmarked plod cars.
The golden rule is DON'T LOSE IT with these people. It's not worth knocking years off your life with the stress. Stay cool, and you can sometimes have a bit of fun winding them up, should you be so inclined...
The Nova crew sometimes get on me ****, but I was like that a few years ago so I can sorta understand it.

What annoys me? (in no particular order)
- Outside and more importantly, middle lane hoggers.
- Rovers
- BMWs
- Speed traps
- Unmarked plod
- Tailgaters
- Trucks pulling out to overtake uphill
- School run MPVs / 4x4s (Make the barstools walk to school, I did!!)
- The Nova / Saxo / Escort brigade
- CARAVANS!!!
- People driving and making phone calls
- Advice from the back seat....

How about ar*eholes who just creep out at junctions expecting you to let them out no way right foot on the floor its quite funny to see there faces they soon find reverse
Also when you get tailgaters who are on there phone just flick your rear fogs on then brake its quite a picture in your rear view mirror

Chelle.......You ladies have the right to drive fast cars as well as us guys......Cos lets face it guys some you drive like old women
(Runs for flame suit)......But seriously I wish some of you lady Scoob drivers would flash you lights or wave when I flash you instead of sticking your noses in the air, Me I love every inch of my Scoob except for this annoying rattle that started yesterday, Drive a fast car like a Scoob you gonna get grief from other road user's cos they are soooo jealous....So I say sod em.

I flashed an idiot in a Jap toy car for pulling out in front of me at 30mph when i was nearly on him at 60 'odd and just beginning to wind up.... He then slammed his anchors on to prove something.. SO ithen had to sit behind him in a 60 limit dual carriageway with an empty inside lane for a couple of miles or under pass him. So i patiently sat there for a while longer and then flashed lights again. This twit then braked hard again and i nearly hit him this time. The five or six cars following me then also hit the brakes hard but like me were bemused as the inside lane was empty...
So, i followed like a good lad for the rest of the road with my lights on full till we came to a 3 lane traffic light stop. He couldnt then make to do anything illegal up his inside...I looked at this idiot and thought of getting out to do him some facial adjustments but, he looked like a hippie in his late 30's with long hair and beard. Rather than mash his nose I took pity on him and stayed in my car choosing to simply show him my middle digit and laugh at him. The bugger wouldnt even look in direction - sad little git. Hope he enjoys his J reg micra.
Why do these idiots do this?
Nice to see another female liberated away from normal Fiestas and Clio's. MIchelle, we have a single female colleague here who drives a TVR and loves it. Her day car is a GTI golf.. She doesnt do her own mechanicals though....

Everything mentioned above (except working on it myself - I leave the techie stuff up to people that actually know what they are doing (not as clever as Michelle)), the negatives are out-weighed by the positives.
On thing that wasn't mentioned though is getting out and locking up and the involuntery smile as you here it cooling down. I just love the little pinging noises it makes.
Also colleagues wanting a lift just becuase you are going somewhere. Usually in a thirty zone, they just like sitting in the car with the rear windows down!

How about the thought of thieving bar stewards driving away with your pride and joy
It makes me cry thinking about it
(wouldnt get far as tracking device on this baby)
