I was giving my honest opinion, as you have .... respect my right to that!

I have seen a Classic Impreza Turbo at work struggle to make £6000, it was a X Reg. Classic in Silver and MINT. 22,000miles and Full Subaru Service History.

The car here is the Bug-Eye ..................... I haven't been cruel and knocked the price because its considered by many to be the ugliest car ever to grace tarmac ....... indeed I ADDED £500 to save the shock!

Mate sold one with tinted rears and a new engine from Subaru. Car was mint..... Got £8500 for it, hope this helps.....

 

This is actually very good news .... in 3 months the market has risen for Imprezas then.

I am very happy about it as I was wondering about my MY00 Classic being worth just £5750 (my thoughts) .............. looks like I am to expect, at least, £7750 !!!

Well I had my (admittedly better looking) 4 door MY01 (2001 X reg) up for sale recently. Magnex exhaust, new upgraded brakes & hoses and a couple of other little 'extras'. 52000 miles at £8995. I thought I was asking top money for it & then changed my mind for the time being at least and kept it.

The point is, I was turning callers away at that price so I would imagine yours would easily sell at £9k. People will buy a 5 door because that is what they want & the fact is there are fewer of them around & yours is a desirable colour too.

 

mate your cars around 5 years old with just under avg miles for the age. new it was what 20k? to lose just over 50% in 5 years would be astonishing. id say 8K top's trade in maybe 7.

 

See you can be nice and say things without resorting to insult
