Servicing In Manchester
Can anyone recommend a good independent servicer in the Manchester area? I used Subaru Manchester in the past, but their website has disappeared. Haven't had a scooby for 2 years, so out of the servicing loop.
I believe there may be in Failsworth, if anyone knows about it?

from the address, think they are what used to be Manchester Subaru. Used to be in Levenshulme and then moved. If so, they were great.
They accidentally over charged me on labour for a service and then rang up the next day to tell me and sent a cheque to reimburse.

Or you could just go with the recommendation of just about anyone who has used the place
Just had the car serviced at Prosport yesterday and I must say the lads have done a cracking job.
It was the 50k service which included the cam belt change.
It also had a 4 wheel alignment as well as new discs\pads at the front and pads only at the rear.Have to go easy on those brakes for a few miles now though.
Now the wheel alignment has been done the car seems to handle much better. I did't realise how far out it must had been.
Agian thanks again Prosport TOP JOB.
Recomend to anyone.

His advice to me was: Get upto a good speed on the motorway, then brake strongly to almost a stop, repeat 3 or 4 times, brakes bedded in
Worked for me, and works for thier rally cars too
Nathanb:
How near is it to Stockport BIG Tesco?
Wave to me as you go by
I work near there
Had the car serviced at Prosport yesterday and the service from them was excellent. Needed new front discs and pads unfortunately, but at least it stops now.
Far better than any main dealer (Subaru or otherwise) I've ever used
