Default Servicing In Manchester

Can anyone recommend a good independent servicer in the Manchester area? I used Subaru Manchester in the past, but their website has disappeared. Haven't had a scooby for 2 years, so out of the servicing loop.

I believe there may be in Failsworth, if anyone knows about it?

There is only one you need to go to:

PROSPORT Full details here: http://www.prosport.ltd.uk/

And then get yourself and your new car over to the smacs

from the address, think they are what used to be Manchester Subaru. Used to be in Levenshulme and then moved. If so, they were great.

They accidentally over charged me on labour for a service and then rang up the next day to tell me and sent a cheque to reimburse.

Yes, their the ones, I think they had a fire at Levenshulme premises, and had to move premises. After yet another fire, they are back in business bigger and better than ever Give the very helpful Clare a ring, and tell them Chris Wilkinson from the smacs sent you

Default STI serviced at Prosport

Just had the car serviced at Prosport yesterday and I must say the lads have done a cracking job.
It was the 50k service which included the cam belt change.
It also had a 4 wheel alignment as well as new discs\pads at the front and pads only at the rear.Have to go easy on those brakes for a few miles now though.
Now the wheel alignment has been done the car seems to handle much better. I did't realise how far out it must had been.
Agian thanks again Prosport TOP JOB.
Recomend to anyone.

Warren, did you not ask Pete about the best way to bed in your brakes? His advice to me was:
Get upto a good speed on the motorway, then brake strongly to almost a stop, repeat 3 or 4 times, brakes bedded in Worked for me, and works for thier rally cars too
Nathanb:

Go back onto the m60, heading for manchester airport, take the very next junction off, and turn for Didsbury Road, follow that all the way down to Heaton Mersey Ind Est. Prosport is there. About 15 mins away.
Wave to me as you go by I work near there

Had the car serviced at Prosport yesterday and the service from them was excellent. Needed new front discs and pads unfortunately, but at least it stops now.

Far better than any main dealer (Subaru or otherwise) I've ever used
