Default lowered springs

i had a set of tein springs put on a while ago,(02 wrx) purely for cosmetic reasons as i hate a car that rides high, the lower the better the suspension sits lower and looks better however i would have preffered it lower! i think i was informed that it would be lowered 25 mm at the front and 40mm at the rear. does this sound about right? i was advised dont go any lower as the ride becomes unbearable, i cant tell much of a difference at the mo so cant see lowering it any more than this would be too harsh a ride. wish i would have gone for the 50mm all round springs now(whiteline)
my question is how low can you go, without completely trashing the handling or ride?bob

If they were brand new and are progressively wound then they might take some time to settle down, i doubt you'll see the full drop straight away

had too remove my coilovers and im sure u will, coz at 100miles an hour + u will bite your tongue off if u spoke, at 120 u think u gonna go out of the roof, and loose control of the car coz of the constant bouncing around. when fitted the front of my car was bout 2inches of the road (pics in members gallery btw)

wrx pete, the springs have been on 6 months and 6 k miles, i think they have settled now, still not over impressed with the ride height.
scooby-shieldy, i presume yours has been dropped more than mine as i dont experience any probs.
