Default your opinion please

i bought my wrx import about 14 months ago and some time in its previous life it had a blitz electronic boost controller fitted but now half is missing and its not connected but neither is my boost solenoid it just has a dawes device now until i get a electronic boost controler do you think i shoul connect my boost solenoid back up if so does the pipe from the turbo go to the top pipe on the solenoid or the one from the waste gate

Turbo goes to top pipe on solenoid, wastegate to middle and bottom goes to the inlet pipe.
