Default Sold my Impreza

I sold my MY94 Impreza WRX on monday! I got £5200 for it, so im quite happy! Had a few select mods, 17" Rota, eibachs, Blitz NUR spec, etc. So got quite a good price!

Have decided that im gonna get a £500 runaround for the next 6 months or so. So am looking at a new Impreza in 6 months or so. Will have around £9000 to spend. What do people recommend?!

RB5?
STi 5?
Newage WRX?

Regards,

Rob

RB5

A true classic, cant see it loseing to much money when you come to sell,

Cant see £9k getting a decent evo, unless you go for a Evo 4.

Question

Can someone explain to me why an RB5 would be a "true classic"?

Wink

Going back is the way forward

The reason you're probably finding it hard to sell your Impreza is that it's either a dog or too expensive.

I've sold four and never had a problem selling them as they were a reasonable price. A lot of people pay too much to begin with and kid themselves into asking too much when they try to sell on.

What would you price a MY00, no mods with 63,000 miles?

Am I buying or selling?

An sti5 went on here the other day for 4,700 ONO

http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=488705

So my guess would be if I was to buy it would have to be cheaper than that. Also seen somewhere on here a guy say he was offered a trade price of 4k by a dealer for a similar spec car to yours.

o.k I wouldnt go as far a true classic, like the P1 or 22B, But it has its own special place, I really admire a nice looked after RB5.
