I'm thinking of a colour change this year and I fancy something timid like Bright Yellow with some Black and/or Silver !
Obviously some advertising up the side but I don't mind that being quite subtle.

Anyone fancy a go at it or know someone that would be interested ? A decent effort could well end up on the car.

cheers

Andy

lol, the problem with the original Blue is that the car now has a number of fibreglass panels on it and you can never get them ripple free. A dark colour really highlights a dodgy surface, hence thoughts of a Bright Yellow etc

How about painting it white or red even?

I know what you mean. A friend has a sonic blue Scoob with a fibre glass bonnet and you can see the ripples I'm sure it'll look great whatever colour it is That is one sexy car!

No, Red Mica looks good, when polished. Regular red however does not.

I think Red mica would have the same ripple issue though ? It needs to be a light colour so the reflections don't show so much.....I think ?

Haven't seen one in a brighter more regular type red. Think I agree with you there.

Just to illustrate... and sorry in advance... but maybe a Tommi Makinen Evo type shade of red could look good.

If your changing the colour i would go for one that hasnt been used on a production scoob before, people will think your base car was an STi V3 Type R if yellow, not a bad thing, had one myself.

Sorry I don't have a link, but have you seen the latest Ford Focus ST colour - the orange? That's a wild colour!

not to upset the guy who had his stolen, but this is the ideal colour for you.
it will hide all the dents, ripples etc and who else is going to go for it

OOOOHHHH the pink one is nice

Personally I like the gold one BOB'5 did - not sure how bright it is though - probably just as bad as the blue.

Some interesting cars there ! Love "the panther"

Still prefer the Yellow but it needs something to break it up a bit, thats where I'm stuck. I don't want flames etc but have seen some race cars with a base yellow car with black/silver decals and signwriting and strangely enough sometimes metallic red also contrasts well.

Got to be black. Everyone knows that black is currently the fastest colour
