Default saloon roofrack for classic

I have 1995 wrx which i love but have one problem.......... I am a surfer so need a roofrack to get the board around. Is it possible to fit a rack on a saloon? I already have thule bars from an old vectra i had so might just need the different feet.
Hope someone can help.

Many thanks Graham

I have a 2000 UK spec and I've got some Thule bars for it. Phone your nearest Thule stockist I'm sure they'll be able to help

Cheers mate.
Do the bars fit on top of the roof or inside the door rubbers??

IIRC the 'feet' sit on the roof and the 'adjustable clamp bits' (technical term) fit under the rather flimsy black trim bits above the windows. Not the most secure fixing but it seems to work. I've carried a 15 foot Canadian canoe with no problems so a surf board should be no problem
Hope that helps.
