i drove through Aldermaston today in my new P1 and saw the other x-reg - sitting by the roundabout opposite the pub.
I think that guy picked his up at Lancaster on Saturday as I was getting mine.

I live in Crowthorne (Berks) but frequently drive to Aldermaston as my mate has a BMW M3 garage,
Enjoying a week's vacation after taking deliver of the P1 - it is simply mental. I bought it from Lancaster in Pangbourne who were fantastic and luckily they advised me on the big brake upgrade so they had time to fit before I collect it.
Where are you?

Avoided the running in by getting a demonstrator (reckoned they would have ironed out all the delivery flaws).
My mate has a placed just outside Aldermaston (Independant Motors) specialises in E30 M3's which are a blast on the track.
He is organising a track day for Wed at Goodwood and I cannot decide which to drive, my M3 or the P1 - I think good sense will prevail and the P1 will stay in the safety on my garage at home !

Thank heavens for that 3 year warranty.
Whilst the P1 was definately pricey, the M3's are very cheap and perform brilliantly for 10 year old cars.
What's the spec. of your scoob - and have you noticed any little niggles that I should look out for ?

Just a standard MY00 DBM 5-Door boring really but cant see much wrong with it in standard form - its quite quick enough for an old geezer like me!!!
Odd rattles and squeaks from inside trim
Bad hesitation at 3000 RPM when cold (probably wont apply to your flashy metal)
Brake dust on front alloys (again the P1 looks like it has brake dust over the alloys anyway!!)
Never taken it on a track as I have enough trouble keeping her on the road
7500 mile service tomorrow
Bought mine from Simpsons of Swindon - very good but sadly, too far away for just servicing. So, it goes to Mill Lane, Basingstoke tomorrow morning
