sorry if its been asked before but the search bar near seems to work for me.

on my99 uk ppp what gains would i get from fitting a decat on it, i am aware that my car runs around 240bhp i will lfind out at the end of feb on the rolling road day but how much roughly could i expect the end bhp and tourqe hike to be?

may be a silly question but would it need remapping after?

it wont need maping to suit the decat (downpipe or midle pipe. in fact even if you did the two) but you wont gain much if you leave it and not map it

Usually a decat down pipe and centre section can add upto 25bhp......

 

i had a decat downpipe not remaped at the time and wasnt impresed at all. car just felt more happy to rev higher up the range. didnt feel to be puling any better.
