Default Just got my first Subaru!

New to this forum so Hello. Just traded in my old 2003 VX220 2.2 with 23k on the clock for a brand new 05 WRX. Went through a main dealer for pease of mind and I got the car for £18650 and he gave me £12250 for my old car. Think I've done alright with the deal (let me know if you think otherwise) pleased anyway to get the 05 as I'm not so keen on the new 06 model. + thinking of going for the ppp after the first 1000 miles, is this a good idea?

Thanks

How does the scoob compare to the vx220? Nice cars!

PPP is an excellant idea and should net you around 263bhp.

Welcome btw!

I loved my vx but when its cold and wet as it is most of the time in the UK you have to carefull not to spin the thing. I find the Subaru quick but I just need a little time to get use to the turbo. I'm so use to putting my foot down in any gear in the vx and getting a response. I think you have to work the Subaru a bit harder. Mind you not done the 1k yet so don't want to push it too hard yet.

I see that you are Southampton way. Might be worth checking out www.hampshiresubaru.co.uk!

We usually have meets every second monday of the month and alternate between portsmouth and southampton. There's a rolling road day coming up in March too!

Welcome to the site.

cheers guys never expected such a warm reception, I'm so use to getting stick at work for owning a Subaru. I've been trying to explain to them I'm no boy racer I just like to drive exciting cars. I could think of nothing worse than driving around in their diesel company cars.

I've had my first Subaru about 6 months now. It's been a great car so far and just wish I'd got one sooner. So much fun to drive, superb handling and performance. Just so many modifications you can make to them aswell it's difficult to work out where to start at times.

Top marks....At last somebody has positive things to say about Impreza ownership

It's not all doom and gloom
