Default Fuel pump fitting instructions

As above as search on scoobynet won't work?? to fit a new pump on a classic?

best bet, remove passenger rear seat (the back rest) on the offside (drivers side) there is a cover with 4 nuts, remove this and you will then see another cover with about 6 nuts (will also be a electrical connector and 3 fuel pipes)
Disconnect the connector, and then start the engine, it will run for a short while until it stalls due to lack of fuel. Restart it again and it will probably run for a few more seconds. This aleviates fuel pressure.
I then disconnect the battery, and remove the 3 pipes. Maybe mark them up to identify where they connect to.
Undo the nuts, and then lift, and the fuel pump will be sat in a cradle. Disconnect the now visible connector and then simply press down slightly on the fuel pump and then withdraw from the cradle.
Fit new pump, if it is a walbro, use the original sock and then refit in reverse to removal.
