Help: Power TERMS..
Maybe someone can clear up a confusion for me
HP , WHP , BHP ??
WHP is the wheel horse power as of what RR takes its measures from
So what is HP and BHP ??

then there is PS. which is a metric measurment that is nearly a horse power but not quite!

1 BHP (conventional english standard measurment)
equals 1.01387 PS (metric measurment that a lot of manufacturers now qoute in)
equals 0.7457 KW

Thanks, so is HP and BHP equivalent to FHP??
Sorry, just when my mates starts his banter he gets confused himself, it'd be nice to know what hes talking about

HP is BHP
PS is metric BHP
WHP and FHP are talking about where the BHP is measured (i.e at the wheels or the flywheel) as you will 'loose' a lot of BHP between the flywheel and wheels (gearbox etc).
it is confusing i admit!
