Brembo front calipers
I bought a pair of brembo off a WR1 front brakes and was told they would fit on my 1994 wrx
First attempt the pcd was different on the disc as the brembo disc is 114 and the WRX is 100 so went to Godspeed and had the discs drilled out
Second attempt today disc on great then put caliper on and the d**n thread on the bolts are different
Has anyone come across this before and if so what bolts do I need that is 12mm by what thread 1.25 or 1.5 and also I put the old brakes back on before measureing what length these bolts should be
Any help will be very much appreciated
Thanks

Errrm well your going to have another problem, thats possably the wheel.....
STi wheels have more clearance behind them than other wheels so the calipers can fit.... so unless you have wheels that have these behind them your going to be a bit stuffed
Also, are these from an MY05 car? as this STi8 to me, means a 2002 car (JDM) as there is no such thing as a UK STi 8 as the bugeye was the UK's first official production of the STi (i dont take the P1 or 22B to fall into this bracket as they were uk market only where as the STi is now a mass european market car )

My mistake I was told they come off a WR1 and I bought these off a Subaru main dealer
As for the wheels I just bought a set of 18 inch tarmac alloys off Midland Wheels and they assured me that the wheels will clear the brembos fingers crossed

I can't remember off-hand, but I know one is 1.25 and the other is 1.5. So, if your '94 bolts are 1.25 then the brembos are 1.5 (or vice versa).
I'm using HT 8.8 bolts. I purchased 50mm bolts and had to cut them down to about 45mm (IIRC).
I can have a look later for the thread size if you wanted me to.
