Default Morette twin replacments??? Where??

I was looking at getting a set of morette lights for a classic scooby, the set i'm looking at is cheap but needs a new complete unit for one side.

Where do i go for a price, can they even be bought seperatly. i've searched everywhere and i can find nothing, not even a manufacturers web site.

Yes they can be bought separately and are quite cheap circa £20-£25 for the outers. Look in Demon Tweeks at their 5 3/4" range of replacement lamps.

here

Just to cheer you up the outer lamps are the same as the old Ford Capri.....so you could pick them up for buttons. dunno bout the inners tho'

The units are Cibies mate. (on the classic they are anyway...dunno 'bout newage) That's not to say that something else won't fit in there though.
I fitted BMW Hella lamps from a BMW 3series (the ones with the globe in the centre) back in the 80's to a Capri to better the lighting output. Wasn't a straight swap but wasn't difficult to do for the better result you got.

Getting the surrounds for the lamp will be a problem. Morrette will be your only place as they are the manufacturer.
Shudder to think of the cost, but you might be lucky.

I believe they will fit earlier cars, but there will be a small gap where the inner edge of the lights meets the front grill. Mines a my2000, so I cant tell u how big the gap would be (it was mentioned in past posts)
