Argh!!! Help me SN!!.
I'm just trying to attach my new Momo gear **** for my MY99 and Having unscrewed the std ****, it would appear that the valance that surrounds the mechanism is attached to the std ****, meaning I can't remove the gear **** and expose the screw thread. Maybe its just a bit sticky having been attached for so long......BUT I don't want to give it some stick and rip the valance.
Am I missing something?
Any help much appreciated.

theres like a lip where it just sits on, so stretch it over, the down side is that when you put your momo one on, the shroud just droops down, could try cutting that bit off and super glueing it to the new one?
good luck

no probs, you could take it back and get one of these?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-MOMO-RA...QQcmdZViewItem
these are still momo ones but are made specifically for the scoob so they have that bit built in

Cheers- have a drink for me!

The Momo air leather is a good gear ****. Fits well (to a new age at least), and can be had for £49.95 before SIDC disc from Subaru. Paid £45, well worth it!
Even better if Monty's have it in a sale!
