Blues?

Back in the days of olde, Subaru realeased V-ltd's in Japan in 'Rally Blue' IIRC, which was different from the 4 UK available blues you mentioned. Moray has an STI3 in this fine colour.
Sonic Blue is indeed very different from the rally car blue.
I think the 'Rally Blue' you mention is the European name for Sonic blue.
I'm not sure that the colour was an exact match for the rally car though.

Charles

I was luck enough to get a 96 WRX FIA v-ltd built to celebrate the 95 win. It *is* rally blue (well the rally blue at that time anyway) with the obligitary gold wheels. Not seen another scooby like it over here, and the blue is definitely different than any other UK cars - its not even metallic!

Hey Barge, thanks dude!
It's common old Sonic blue. Funny though, line up some 22B's and the colour often looks different between them. Don't know if it's different batches, or just different levels of care the paint has recieved after it left the factory.
Cheers
