2003 sti type uk ppp remap?
Firstly... if this is in the wrong place sorry but there seemed to be a few remap threads here,
Secondly i'm a bit new to all this and what i'm asking might be straight forward and i maybe should know! lol
I've just this week picked up a 2003 sti type uk with ppp, however i'm not all that impressed , it seems to need a little something else! now from what i've been reading on here a remap might be what i'm looking for....
Anyone got any advice as to what i can do? and what is it gonna cost me! lol
thanks all

Not all that impressed? What car did you have before the sti, a bloody pagani zonda!!!
Seriously though, I know where your coming from a little, as low end grunt is not as good as my my99 remapped uk turbo, running 286/294. I find the sti a little slow out of junctions. However, on an open twisty road, it is a rocket, and definatly not in need of a remap
But, as I won one, I'm still going to get it done, and also take the oppurtunity to change the exhaust to a milltek.
Powerstation here I come!
chris.

if i was u i would do this
roger clark induction kit with K&N filter £260
or STI panel filter £ 60
Janspeed 3" open neck de-cat down pipe £200
Hks Hiper 3" exhaust £600
BR Developments EcuTek 3 remap £750
these prices are approx and u will get around 330-340 bhp
if u want more power then as i have done u will need bigger injectors and a bigger turbo
speak to olly at RCM 01455 828610 he knows his stuff

or this:
read the newage impreza mods article by the webmaster, and find out that an induction kit isn't all it's cracked up to be.
so get the sti panel filter £60
you already have a decat downpipe with the ppp
milltek 3" exhaust £380 + vat
powerstation remap £499 + vat & free 3port (free to me )
should get the same amount there too, I'll let you know in the new year
