Ive had insurance repairs done at Howard Basford Warrington.

New front wing, bonnet and radiator. They were completely crap, wing and bonnet not lined up, bonnet didnt sit right above front grill, bonnet release never worked properly and they never put enough coolant in it. Although the colour match was pretty good.

This was on a Rover 200 about 3 years ago.

Cheers for that mark

Thats not very good news at all!

I have just been looking at thier website and they look like a huge company.

I know my car is a 96 turbo but its still my pride and joy.

One of parents cars went in after someone hit the side of it. They did not accept the car back at first as the paintwork finish was crap, if i remember right they said that the finish was rough. Think they then buffed and polished the paintwork and it was ok then.

Only place i have heard good reports about is scoobyclinic, all the other companies seem to be about quick turnaround.

I've had repairs done at the Ellesmere Port Howard Basford and wasn't over impressed. Had the completion date for the job put back 4 times. When I did get the car back 4 weeks after they took it in the work wasn't complete. AN exterior door trim was need which was fitted the following day but 2 months later they have only just the interior door trim in. Only found this out as I phoned them to see what the situatiion was and they were supposed to let me know when the part was in. Also now got a terrible wind noise form the side the repairs were done on which it's got to go back in to them for to resolve.

Thumbs down

There is a cracking painter there... Ade... really s**t hot... if you can get him to paint your car, it'll be spot on...
Thing is that they do that many repairs, there all rushed and the majority of people will be happy... if your not don't accept it...
They do chuck a load of s**t work out there...
