Default car alarms

Hi guys, can you help me out, im having my car alarm fitted tomorrow at 11am...is the gemini cat 1 a good system???? its either the 7359 or the 7590 system...he said ones the newest model.. so that will be fitted, he also said i can have a scorpion if i wanted but he said gemini would be his better option. now this is fitted for £220 so it aint gonna be the best in the world but its proven. it would have been £200 but he said the impreza needs a motor fitting for central locking purposes.

thanks

i wouldn't have thought the impreza's would need a motor as they already have central locking fitted...!!
Get an alarm with an anti-hijack feature - when you put the ignition on it automatically locks the doors and when the ignition is off it then unlocks the doors.. my old wrx had it fitted it was a Toad ai606 (i think) cost about 240quid fitted..!

i have a 95 import, and that needed a motor fitting for the central locking to work! as it was designed to be locked on the drivers door there was no motor in it! when you locked it the others activate!

hi raf, i could have one of them fitted (toad ai606) but i can always lock the doors if i wanted to manually, the guy i got it off yesterday said a motor would have to be fitted to make it work properly so he must be right!...if it thatcham approved cat 1 then thats all that matters i guess. £220 seems a good price, ive tried but cant beat it unless its a micro scan £200<<<<whooooooo!!
