I got me a new scoob!!!

The King is dead, long live the King!!! ;D

Only got these pics from the dealer - will get some more at the weekend.

Deal been sealed just over a week now but picked her up tonight. Traded the silver machine in so no messing with private sales. Got a good price too.

Yep, that's an 04 STi Type UK in Graphite Black and chuffed to bits I am.

That's a nice Scooby!

I do like to see happy peeps getting a shiny new scooby on here. Happy for ya mate. Enjoy it! Take some time to get used to it though, it'll handle a bit differently from your classic.

I wonder if dealers are starting to relaise good classics are getting like rocking horse poo and are starting to offer half decent cmoney, especially on trade-ins

Not had much chance yet but first impressions are it's much firmer than I remember form the test drive - might be because the roads were silky smooth on the test drive and I've done a couple of B roads on the way home
certainly a lot firmer than the classic.

Also feels very "tame" sub 3,000 revs but once up and over that - blimey!

Did a run up the M1 for one junction too and little disconcerting to see the spoiler flexing so much.

Not sure about good classic getting half decent money but I was "content" with the cost to change. Delears got it up at £1k more than I tried privately so I think I was about right in my valuation when I put it up.

Thanks for the comments folks.

And I still love classics but life moves on - I'll admire from slightly afar.
