I must have been living under a rock for the last few months cos I have completely missed the fact that the MY06 Impreza's are 2.5 litre

So, in light of this and the fact that the STi is up from 265 PS to 280 PS as standard, does this do away with the need for PPP?

Or, is there a PPP available/in development for the STi? If so, what power does it hike to? I'd imagine it must be in the region of 320-330 PS?

Also, I see that the WRX is only up 5PS and 20Nm from the MY05 car, even though capacity is up to 2.5 litre.... I'd have hoped for more from the big lump

 

their WILL be PPP. Yet to be announced the figures.
