My 93 WRX had 46K miles on the clock when I got it five years ago, now it has 141K miles. I abuse the hell out of it. For servicing, it just gets the ocasional oil and filter change when I can be bothered. It hasn't had a cam belt change or even a plugs and filter change in all that time but it just keeps on going. I also don't use octane booster. In fact, I reckon I do everything that all the know-alls say we shouldn't.
