Default classic cooling system

hi gang, i have had two classic imprezas and have never got round to changing the anti-freeze. Now i have got change the coolant in my latest classic 1995 wrx, i was wondering if or how to bleed any airlocks out of the system after re-filling.

Hope you lot can help.
Cheers Graham

Easy way i find is drain through bottom rad hose. Then refil with top one straight into engine whilst header tank cap is removed!! Then fill last little bit into header tank. Start up drive watever. Then next day when cold check level at coolant bottle!! never fails for me!!

I fitted a new rad on mine found the best way to fill it up was leave the top hose off and fill the rad then fitted the top hose filled the header tank up but left the small return pipe off to the rad so you know when it is coming though if this makes sence then run it for abit with the top off and the heater on full fill it up slow as you will end up with a air lock if you rush it hope this helps you then check it again as take more in
