Where do you position your steering wheel for the ultimate driving position.
Is this a personal thing being all different sizes ,do you sit low in your seat with the steering wheel high on it's pivot,or low in your seat with the steering wheel at it's lowest pivot.
The reason i'm asking this is that i adjusted my steering wheel so that the top of the wheel sits about 3" above the highest point on my dash,(classic)with my arms bent this gives me a positive feel to the car ,just wondered what you thought .
cheers lee.

mine really annoys me, on the bugeye, i have it dropped as far down as possible, but then you cant see any of the warning lights
but i guess its my own fault, im sure i can live with that

Most will argue that's it's a personal choice. My preference is bum as low as possible, backs of thighs/knees as high as poss, back at 90 deg to the floor pan and wheel as a high as poss. I find this grips my body best under cornering and deceleration and the steering is just right at qtr to 3 with arms slightly bent.

Tried that one before but when your'e driving a type r or any other car for that matter, you need to have hold with your arms bent so as to be able to correct anything quickly,if your arms are outstreched the only power you are going to get is in your wrists, you have more strength in your chest to control a vehicle.
