Red paint on STI inlet manifolds
Hi folks,
was wondering if there was a certain age or mileage at which the red crackling on the STI model inlet manifolds starts coming off? I've been to view some cars and although the mileage seems low and the condition of the rest of the car would point to it being genuine, most seem to have shabby looking engine bays due to the paint flaking off in areas....or are they all like that due to the heat under the bonnet?
Thanks,
Bri
